Scientific names are something which toki pona completely fails at being able to interact with. The names of the numerous species on earth, the countless chemicals, even the elements. It is a gap in what toki pona can do but i have no solution and i'm uncertain how big of a problem it is. It's possible there's no way to stay in the spirit of toki pona whilst also closing that gap.
